li Lead, coach, and grow engineers; support their development and career progression. /li

li Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and senior leaders to set a clear quarterly roadmap and deliver it iteratively. /li

li Guide technical decisions and promote high-quality code, sound engineering practices, and reliable distributed systems. /li

li Stay close to the work through design and code reviews, incident leadership, on-call participation, and troubleshooting when needed. /li

li Own processes that improve engineering quality and help the team meet its service-level commitments. /li

li Partner with recruiting to attract and hire strong engineers. /li

div strong Required Skills and Experience: /strong

ul

li 7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in data platform or infrastructure, including 2+ years in engineering management. /li

li Experience building, delivering, and operating distributed systems at scale. /li

li Strong engineering judgment and the ability to foster quality, maintainability, and effective development practices. /li

li An execution-focused approach: able to work through ambiguity, balance near-term delivery with long-term planning, and turn complex goals into actionable work. /li

li A hands-on leadership style and willingness to engage in technical work and operational responsibilities. /li

li Experience leading technical change in a large, fast-moving organization. /li

li Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. /li

li Clear communication, ownership, and a strong customer focus. /li

li Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality. /li
